Handmade Sari Journal - Fabric Journal
Our colourful sari journals are skilfully handmade to not only look good but to last too. A beautiful gift for the writer in your life or for for someone who loves sketching or just doodling. These journals have 125 pages of unlined khadda paper. Khadda is recycled cotton that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India. It is very easy to write on, however, we don't recommend using fountain pen with this type of handmade paper. They are available in 3 sizes and 6 vibrant colours.
Covered with authentic Indian saris, sourced from Varanasi, one of the most religious cities in the world and a centre of excellence for sari making. The sari material is handmade using man-made fibres because we are uncomfortable with the traditional methods used to make silk. The paper is carefully handmade from recycled cotton which is leftover from the massive garment industry in India.
